Mrs. Krithiga Ravichandran, is the Founder Trustee of Veer Foundation of Arts and Culture Trust and Artistic Director of Natyachakra – Temple of Dance. She has more than twenty five years of experience in the field of dance. Her passion towards dancing and compassion towards underprivileged were the main reasons behind the establishment of Trust and the dance school. Her vision of transforming the knowledge of Bharathanatyam to the next generation as she received it from her senior gurus is being principally executed by Natyachakra. She is a prominent, sought after Bharathanatyam exponent in Puducherry. She has delivered performances in many places of India and abroad.

Awards & Achievement

She has been chosen as the top 100 Women of India by the Govt. of India for the year 2016 for art service rendered to the community.
She is a recipient of Young Artist Scholarship from Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India
She has completed Phil in Dance from Tamil University and qualified for UGC-NET in the field of Dance.
She is a recipient of Best Performer Award from Sri Parthasarathy Swami Sabha in the year 2018.
She is a Graded artiste of Doordharshan
She has received ‘Young Talent Award’ from South Zone Cultural Centre, Govt. of India.
She is a recipient of ‘Sigaram Thotta Magalir Award’ by Sigaram Service Society.
She is a recipient of ‘Outstanding Women Achiever Award’ from State Bank of India
She received ‘Shakthi Award’ from Achariya Group of Institutions
She received “Women Achiever Award” from CII-IWN and Alumni Association of Bharathidasan Govt. College for Women
She has received ‘Surya Penmani Award” from Suryan FM, Puducherry.
She is a recipient of CCRT Scholarship from Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India.
Received ‘Mother Teresa Award’ from the Mother Teresa Social Service Organization for the year 2018.
Received ‘Best Social Activist Award’ from Indian Confederation of Labor (FFW) for the outstanding contribution in the field of community outreach service in the year 2018.

She has received several state and national level recognitions. She has been the adjudicator for many prominent dance events. She is also an anchor in DD Podhigai. She is also working as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science. Her specialization in dance is choreographing for classical Tamil literatures due to which she has choreographed for the entire 1330 Thirukkurals which is to be released in a DVD form shortly.
