Natyachakra is a part of Veer Foundation, founded in the year 2017, inaugurated by the Former DGP of Puducherry, S. K. Gautham, with an objective of transforming the cultural knowledge to the next generation, without loss of grammar and tradition. Since then Natyachakra has been impeccably functioning to fulfil its objectives. It is the only classical dance school in Pondicherry to have been installed with sophisticated state-of-the-art infrastructure. The young artistes of this dance school have performed in India as well as abroad bearing the torch of our rich heritage and culture. The dancers are given numerous opportunities to explore, experience, and learn. The budding artistes are also artistically empowered to trigger the creativity and stimulate the artistic knowledge in them. All the dancers are also given opportunity to be a part of the productions, performances and video albums curated by Natyachakra. Students undergo proper training for Salangai Pooja and Arangetram. Online trainings and classes are also offered to disseminate the knowledge of arts. Natyachakra looks out for every possibility to churn opportunities out of it for the betterment and welfare of the art fraternity.
